Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players attain five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure on par with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pony’s up cash even with your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
