Web poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a sum on par with the initial bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
