Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier is given seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
